Primary School

The Primary school is composed of Grades 1-5  with children aged 7-10 years. This is a stage where maximum acquisition of learning happens. To tap the energy and readiness of children to learn new skills and knowledge we have planned our methodology around an application-based learning approach. Students will be involved in investigations and experiments over passive learning to enhance interest and engagement. 

 

Highlights of Primary School are increased emphasis on literacy skills through:

Subjects Offered

Stem based learning has been added as an optional feature to give a platform to students to explore their interests and build the scientific temperament to investigate and research.

Following subjects are being offered:

Morning Routines: Following activities are planned to promote social emotional learning and develop a sense of identity.

Learning Material Kit delivered home for written work and home work:

To engage children following cocurricular activities are conducted on alternate Saturdays.

Clubs:

 Instruction  Time: 4 Hours 10 Minutes of Instruction time from Mon – Friday and two alternate Saturdays.

Conglom Activity

Conglom is the time when students and teachers come together to do a common task. It is a daily morning schedule.

Goal setting

This activity is an essential engagement planned for students in senior and secondary grades to build the skill of Time management and prioritization.

Career Mentoring

Under this activity students are made aware of emerging careers on the professional landscape through interesting webinars and talks by professionals from different walks of life.

Social awareness

21ST Century learning is all about being aware and having global outlook towards social and cultural issues. Through interesting TED talks and seminars students are made aware of developments in social-cultural scenarios.
